Made in Finland from Domestic Technical Plant Oil
EKO 100 products have been awarded the Key Flag Symbol (Avainlippu) as recognition of Finnish work and domestic production.
The origin of our lubricants lies in technical plant oils. We purchase oil directly from Finnish farmers that, for various reasons, is not suitable for food production. Some of our raw material also consists of rapeseed and canola oil that has already been used for food production but remains highly suitable for further processing. EKO 100 products therefore contain no edible-grade oil.
This is circular economy in practice. Its principles promote the use of renewable and naturally biodegradable raw materials while making use of raw materials unsuitable for food production by processing them into new products.
